Like natural hair, improper care—such as forceful brushing, sleeping with wet hair, or frequently tying hair too tightly—can cause breakage and accelerate the need for a refill. Typically, an exchange is only necessary when your natural hair grows to the length of your extensions, and you wish to go longer.
